Warcraft III Frozen Throne 1.24b Patch Log File Review

Last August, there has been an update on Warcraft III Frozen Throne 1.24b on the blizzard website. Warcraft is one of the best games that Blizzard entertainment had created. There are many modifications and enhancement from its core game. I remember playing Warcraft (the first ever Warcraft) way back in elementary. I was really into it - the chopping of woods, mining for gold and, surviving from attacks and just completing the preset campaigns. Now Warcraft have revolved in many other modifications. There is this Dota Allstars and World of Warcraft (the ever popular MMORPG - with 9 million subscribers, can you believe?)

Here is the what have changed from the previous version to the recent version blizzard has released for Warcraft fans.

PC WORLD EDITOR CHANGES
- Increased max map file size from 4 MB to 8 MB.
- Added the ability to store hashtable handles in a hashtable.
- Added GetSpellTargetX and GetSpellTargetY natives.
- Added a new base handle type “Agent” of which many types now extend from.
- Added a SaveAgentHandle native which can be used for saving most handle types.
- Added a JASS optimization dealing with global variable change events.

FIXES
- Fixed a few false positives caused by the “return bug” fix.
- Fixed a crash related to hashtable reference counting.
- “Shadowing” global variables with local variables no longer is possible.
- Fixed a type conversion dealing with operators (i.e. adding a handle with an integer).

If you are not familiar with the log files and just downloaded the patch file just to play, you may ignore this post and just ENJOY THE GAME! cheers!

Randy Couture VS Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

From the previous fights and the seniority of Randy Couture, he can outsmart Antonio Nogueira and win the battle. Came from a disappointing loss from Brock Lesnar, Couture is very well determined to get his fist up and smack someone. Im not saying that Nogueira won't stand a chance, but this fight wont be easy for Couture as well. MY bet goes to Couture on this round.

Jardine vs Silva

Jardine is one tough cookie, and Silva is just amazing. I saw Silva's last fight that made Forrest run a minute after he came to his senses. Silva is a cool straight striker and Jardine is one big fortress. For this fight, MY bet would go to Silva. This fight wont be easy for both of them, but who knows would dominate the Octagon tomorrow right?

Laptop Dilemma on Specifications

I bought a laptop yesterday together with my girlfriend and had a dilemma on what processor to buy. In the end, we settled for an AMD Turion X2.

I thought hard on what to buy but became intrigued with the 3 processors presented to me. It was explained that Core 2 Duo is intended for heavy users that do multi-tasking. Dual Core is much like the same but a lower version of the Core2, and same goes with AMD Turion.

We [my girlfriend and I] have settled that since she would just do gaming, I suggested that we go for the Turion for the reason that the bundle laptop came with a dedicated onboard Graphics card which is ATI 3200. I have a laptop on my own but only have the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator which really does not compliment my expectations. If I could turned back the time on that day, I would choose, or include an ATI graphics card or a GForce card for the win.

I recently bought one, sent it to my home country and I say it really works, and it works like a charm. We were having strong signal and no frequency interruption of some kind. It was a good deal for just a measly $30 per year.... that PER YEAR!

Dropping Point

If you are a domain name junkie, you must have noticed the presence of drop-catch auction sites, wherein they actually catch domain names for you and give you a hefty price. This is not really for newbies (like me) when it comes to domaining. Three sites I know that operates the drop-catch technique, Snapnames, Pool, and Namejet.

It is difficult to catch for good domain names nowadays and you just have to get the services of this sites. Mind you that this is not cheap, Prices range on about $50 dollars and up.

Why not Godaddy, for measly $20?

The edge of these catchers are that they can grab the domain YOU WANT faster than any other registrars out there. They have this script tool that harvests good domain names... and that is why, only "the latak" are left to average domainer-wannabee, like me. lol
